about
I’m Michaela Di Mise, a Honduran model, content creator, entrepreneur, and creative working across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and digital media.
My perspective has been shaped by both creative and business experience. From building my own fashion and accessories brand at a young age to studying Strategic Design & Management at Parsons and gaining exposure to the industry through New York Fashion Week, I have developed an understanding of fashion that extends beyond being in front of the camera.
I approach every project with an awareness of the complete visual language behind it — the product, the audience, the positioning, and the story a brand is trying to communicate.
my perspective
I have always been highly attentive to detail.
I notice how an image is composed, how a product is positioned, how movement changes a photograph, and how seemingly small choices can influence the overall result. That sensitivity naturally became part of the way I work.
Having experience as both a creative and a business owner has also given me a broader perspective on collaboration. I understand the thought, investment, and intention behind a campaign, and I approach each project with that in mind.
For me, strong creative work is not simply about producing a beautiful image. It is about creating something that feels aligned, relevant, and true to the identity behind it.
experience that shaped me
My path has taken me through different environments, industries, and stages of growth.
Moving from Honduras to the United States, pursuing an education in fashion, working within creative spaces in New York, and continuing to develop my own businesses and personal brand have all required adaptability and independence.
My career has not followed a single, linear direction. Instead, each experience has added another layer to the way I work and the way I understand creativity.
That has made me comfortable evolving, learning quickly, taking direction, and entering new environments with confidence and curiosity.
approach to collaboration
I value professionalism, preparation, clear communication, and attention to detail.
I am comfortable working within an established creative direction while also contributing ideas when appropriate. Because I understand both the talent and brand perspectives, I naturally consider how the final work will function beyond the shoot itself — whether it is intended for a campaign, website, social media platform, advertisement, or editorial use.
My work can range from fashion and lifestyle modeling to beauty, accessories, jewelry, hand modeling, product-focused imagery, and branded social content.
Regardless of the format, my approach remains the same: thoughtful, adaptable, and intentional.
beyond the image
What interests me most about creative work is the ability to translate an idea into something visual and memorable.
Every brand has its own identity, and I believe the role of a model or creator is not to overpower that identity, but to understand it and contribute to it in a way that feels natural.
My background in fashion, entrepreneurship, branding, content creation, and modeling allows me to approach each project from multiple perspectives.
Ultimately, I bring more than a presence in front of the camera.
I bring an understanding of what is being created, why it matters, and how to help communicate it effectively.
